In 2021 we participated to multiple activities inherent to Montenegro-Italia Link, which included the integration of a Fiber Optical cable installation connecting the two countries. Our involvement in this project demonstrated our wide-ranging expertise in submarine cable operations. A critical component of our work was managing the Pre-Lay Grapnel Run (PLGR) operation, reaching depths of up to 800 meters. For this operation, we provided a DP2 vessel, ROV, and a team of skilled technicians. Additionally, we were responsible for the nearshore cable protection in Pescara (Italy) and Budva (Montenegro). In Montenegro, we successfully executed cable protection by creating a trench in Posidonia using our advanced Jeting Machine, customized for the FO cable protection in environmentally sensitive operation. In the same year, we also conducted maintenance work on the innovative dispersion system in Pescara. This task involved replacing a module and restoring the cable connection with the electrode cable.
